HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE SUPPORT: The Production Maintenance Support position supports the day-to-day operations of Stella’s Production and Warehouse. Working with our production & warehouse team, this role assists with dishwashing, portioning and packaging prepared products, receiving and organizing deliveries, maintaining proper storage and cold chain requirements, completing requisition and picking activities, and maintaining clean and organized production and storage areas. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain cleanliness of dishware, production containers, utensils and other items used by the Production team. * Maintain organization and proper storage of clean containers, dishware and production equipment. * Follow FIFO ("use first") product rotation and proper labeling and dating procedures. * Assist with portioning, packaging and labeling prepared products for delivery to restaurant locations. * Ensure all products meet company quality and presentation standards. * Follow health, safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with Manitoba Health regulations. * Assist with inventory counts, stock, rotation, and minimizing food waste. * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines. * Support catering production and other production kitchen stations as required. Check invoices and pick lists to ensure accuracy of deliveries and shipments * Record any missing items on invoices, to provide proper accounting and inventory * Maintain the cold chain for perishable products by ensuring products are received, stored and prepared for shipment at appropriate temperatures. * Adhere to Manitoba Food Safe requirements * Ensure outgoing products are fresh, properly packaged, free from damage and appropriately dated and labeled. * Load and organize supplies onto racks and designated staging areas according to the required delivery/drop-off sequence. * Maintain organization and cleanliness of picker/driver and storage areas, including walk-ins * Follow general and emergency safety procedures * Safely operate a pallet jack as required * Perform end- of shift- cleaning and closing duties. REQUIREMENTS: * WHMIS & Food Handler Certifications * Ability to lift, carry and move products up to 50lbs (22kg) * Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting and repetitive tasks. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written INCENTIVES: * Life, Health and Dental Benefits plans * Employee discount * Opportunities for advancement HOURLY WAGE: $19.50 - $21.00
