Mortgage Adviser 📍 Montreal, QC 💼 Full-time | On-site We’re looking for an experienced Mortgage Adviser to help clients navigate mortgage financing, assess their borrowing needs, and identify solutions aligned with their financial goals. This is a client-facing opportunity for someone with strong mortgage knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage applications from initial consultation through approval. What You’ll Do Meet with clients to understand their financial situations, goals, and borrowing needs Assess financial profiles and eligibility for mortgage products Recommend suitable mortgage and financing solutions Prepare and submit mortgage applications Liaise with lenders throughout the approval process Track applications and keep clients updated Explain mortgage terms, conditions, and financial implications clearly Maintain accurate client documentation and files Ensure compliance with applicable lending and regulatory requirements Build relationships through networking and mortgage marketing activities Provide consistent, high-quality client service What We’re Looking For Previous experience in mortgage advising, banking, finance, or real estate Strong knowledge of mortgages and lending Ability to analyze financial profiles and recommend appropriate solutions Understanding of financial planning, affordability, and long-term borrowing considerations CeMAP qualification or an equivalent recognized mortgage advisory certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines Comfortable working in an office environment Proficiency with common office software and mortgage-related systems Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills What Will Make You Stand Out Proven mortgage advisory experience Experience working directly with lenders Strong mortgage sales or business development background Existing professional network within real estate, finance, or related industries Experience with both residential and commercial mortgages Apply directly!
