Litigation Associate

Stieber Berlach LLP, a mid-size litigation firm located in downtown Toronto, has been a recognized leader in influential litigation matters since its founding in 1997. The firm routinely advocates for clients at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada and courts of appeal in Ontario and other provinces. It also represents clients before administrative tribunals, regulatory discipline panels and review boards. Stieber Berlach is currently seeking a litigation associate to join its precedent-setting practice. As a member of our team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of litigation including professional liability, professional discipline, medical malpractice, construction, directors’ and officers’ liability, property and casualty defence, and insurance coverage. This position offers an excellent opportunity for progression. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of relevant experience gained from another leading law firm with a demonstrated ability to offer timely, professional, and cost-effective solutions that help clients flourish. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability and desire to independently run sophisticated litigation matters. As a litigation associate, you will be involved in a wide variety of litigation matters, advocating for clients at all levels of court and before administrative tribunals. You will work closely with clients to achieve their litigation goals and deliver outstanding service.

The ideal candidate should have three to five years of relevant experience from a leading law firm and demonstrate the ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters. A strong focus on client service and quality of work is essential.
