Reporting to the Reman Customer Property Manager, the Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for transporting and delivering items over designated routes while ensuring safe operation of the Company vehicle in an efficient manner. Main responsibilities include: * Drive company vehicle to designated destinations for customer product deliveries. * Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule. * Responsible for the daily completion of the Pre/Post-Trip Log, Hours of Service, and various shipping documents. * Operate Company vehicles, forklifts and overhead cranes. * Ensure proper protocols and procedures are followed when loading, transporting and unloading materials. * Ensure proper load securement of goods is followed. * Provide special care in delivering fragile and hazardous products. * Transport and supervise unloading (where applicable) to prevent damage to materials and vehicle. * Report all hazards, incidents, and near misses with the company vehicle to the supervisor. * Notify supervisors about any major repairs and/or maintenance. * Be aware of and follow all safety rules and regulations for motor vehicle operation. * Responsible for maintaining a neat and clean vehicle/work area. * Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns. Be aware of and follow all supplier specific rules and regulations while on their premises. * Adhere to company operating policies and procedures. * Participate in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses as required. * Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies. * Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures, which may include: - JHA – Job Hazard Analysis - QAM – Quality Assurance Manual - QCP – Quality Control Procedures - SWP – Safe Work Procedures - NSC – National Safety Code * Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Preferred candidates will possess: * 3- 5 years driving experience * Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license * Forklift experience * Cargo Securement certification preferred * Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills. * Strong commitment to workplace safety, solid work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Ability to multi-task, have good time management skills, and good customer service skills. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must pass an Alberta medical examination for motor vehicle operators prior to commencing employment. This position requires the successful candidate to participate in an alcohol and drug test and show compliance with Stream-Flo’s Alcohol and Drug Policy before being considered eligible for hire. Candidates should have 3-5 years of driving experience, a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license, and forklift experience. Applicants must pass a medical examination and a drug and alcohol test to be eligible for hire.
