The Role STRIVE is currently hiring for a Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Hamilton, ON. This is a temporary opportunity supporting production needs while the company catches up with demand. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable running production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet company standards. Experience operating CNC equipment is an asset, including machines such as Nakamura, Doosan, Mori Seiki, or Mazak. Candidates with press operation experience (Brown & Boggs or Cleveland presses) are also considered an asset, though training can be provided. Advantages Competitive pay rate of $23.00–$26.00/hr Day shift Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Approximately 3-month temporary assignment (with potential flexibility) Work with a well-established manufacturing company Supportive and team-oriented environment Opportunity to gain experience on various manufacturing machines Weekly pay Responsibilities Operate CNC machines and production equipment according to work instructions Run parts through machines based on provided setups Verify finished parts meet required dimensions and quality standards Perform quality control checks and identify any non-conforming products Isolate and report parts that do not meet specifications Maintain accurate production standards and follow safety procedures Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean machine/work area Follow all company safety and quality protocols Assist with press operations as required Communicate any production concerns or equipment issues to supervisors Requirements Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience operating CNC machines is an asset (Nakamura, Doosan, Mori Seiki, Mazak) Experience with presses is an asset (Brown & Boggs, Cleveland presses) Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections Ability to read and understand work instructions and measurements Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Strong safety mindset and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and positive work ethic Must provide CSA-approved safety footwear #INDSTRIVEON
