Role Description The Document Control Specialist is a temporary, on-site role based in Saint John, NB. This position is responsible for managing project documentation, including creating, receiving, organizing, and maintaining documents in accordance with company standards and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include tracking document revisions, ensuring proper approvals, maintaining document logs, and distributing documents to project teams in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure all documentation is complete, current, and easily accessible. The Document Control Specialist also supports audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives related to document management p rocesses. Qualifications Strong document management skills, including organizing, tracking, and archiving project documents and records. Proficiency with document control software, databases, and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office, Bluebeam). Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow established procedures and standards. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams and external stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction, industrial services, or related project environments is an asset. Knowledge of quality management or compliance frameworks related to documentation is beneficial. Post-secondary education in administration, records management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
