Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Part-Time Temporary High School Teacher for a work assignment at SCHS. One of the largest rural high schools in Alberta, Sturgeon Composite High School is located just minutes north of the cities of Edmonton and St. Albert. Sturgeon Composite High School has a dedicated team working collaboratively to provide exemplary education to approximately 950 students from grades 10-12. Programming includes a broad range from academics and arts to Career and Technology Studies, Knowledge & Employability (K&E), and Special Education classes. The teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated science instruction to high school students while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities include using educational technology to enhance learning and collaborating with colleagues and families to support student growth.

Candidates must possess a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and have experience teaching high school science. A clear Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable Sector Check, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle are also required.
