Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Part-Time Temporary Kindergarten Teacher for a work assignment at Morinville Public School. MPS offers engaging and specialized programming for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4. What You'll Be Doing Kindergarten Teacher Knowledge of early numeracy and literacy development Support literacy development using evidence-informed instructional strategies Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Contribute to school initiatives and the broader school community What You Bring A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Experience teaching primary grades Classroom management that fosters a safe and caring environment Strong skills in using educational technology to support learning Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check Why Join Sturgeon Public Schools? The teacher will provide engaging, differentiated instruction to kindergarten students using evidence-informed strategies for literacy and numeracy. They are responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment and building strong relationships with students and families.

Candidates must possess a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and a clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are also required.
