Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Part-Time Temporary Kindergarten Teacher for a work assignment at Morinville Public School. MPS offers engaging and specialized programming for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to provide an exceptional education in a safe, caring, and inclusive environment, grounded in a child-centred philosophy that emphasizes play and project-based learning. What You'll Be Doing Kindergarten Teacher Knowledge of early numeracy and literacy development Support literacy development using evidence-informed instructional strategies Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Contribute to school initiatives and the broader school community What You Bring A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Experience teaching primary grades Classroom management that fosters a safe and caring environment Strong skills in using educational technology to support learning Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check Why Join Sturgeon Public Schools?
