Director, Benefit Operations 18-Month Full-Time Contract | Edmonton, Alberta Summit Search Group has partnered with OpenCircle to recruit a Director, Benefit Operations for an 18-month maternity leave contract. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced benefits leader to join a respected organization and lead the delivery of one of Canada's premier employee benefit programs. Reporting to the Vice President, Benefit Services, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Benefit Services department, lead a high-performing team, strengthen member relationships, and drive continuous improvement across benefit programs and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the Benefit Services team. Develop, mentor, and support a team responsible for benefit administration and member service. Drive operational excellence through process improvements and performance metrics. Oversee benefit program performance, vendor relationships, and service delivery. Monitor industry trends and recommend enhancements to benefit programs. Build strong relationships with members, carriers, and industry partners. Collaborate across the organization to deliver an exceptional member experience. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in group benefits, insurance, or employee benefits. Strong knowledge of benefit plan design, administration, legislation, and trust governance. GBA or CEBS designation is considered a strong asset. Proven leadership, relationship management, and operational improvement experience. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Why OpenCircle?
