$18.40 per hourOverview Resort Laundry Attendants are responsible for regularly washing, stain treating, sorting, and folding linen provided in the resort’s rental cottages.Job Duties Washes all linens and stain treats to ensure the cleanliness of linens is up to Sun’s standards. (Essential) Loads washers to coincide with cycle rotations. (Essential) Takes wet, clean items and loads into dryers. (Essential) Sorts and folds clean linens and ensures linens stay organized. (Essential) Maintains inventory of all detergent supplies and communicates needs to management. (Essential) Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager. (Essential) Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc. Ensures the facility remains clean and free from safety hazards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED (Required) 6 months in experience working in a laundry facility (Preferred) Demonstrated knowledge of general laundry procedures Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Knowledge of safety measures when using various laundry and cleaning chemicals Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet PERKS & BENEFITS At Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
