We have a relatively new fleet of snowcats, excavators, snowmobiles and more to grow your mechanics’ career path. Our Alpine Shop is located mid-mountain at an elevation of 1850m with heated floors, an automatic parts cleaning cabinet and fully updated LED lighting. We offer a generous yearly tool allowance and paid training opportunities. Our on-site parts department also has a large inventory to help get the work done efficiently. Compensation Information: $41.01 to $43.08 per hour (Depending on Education and Experience) Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg; both in an indoor and outdoor setting. This job position requires physical presence at the designated location. Trades Previous experience working on snow grooming equipment considered an asset Understands and works towards departments and company’s goals and objectives Self-motivated, mature, requires minimum supervision and works well with others Able to lead by example, willing and able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions Ability to operate snowmobiles, ATVs and 4x4 trucks and other powered equipment in a safe and responsible manner Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others Ability to think quickly and follow all safety procedures Working knowledge of current WSBC regulations Primary Responsibilities Perform Seasonal preventative Maintenance on Snow Grooming Equipment Perform running repairs on Snow Grooming Equipment, and other Heavy Equipment during Winter operations Help create and maintain work orders and maintenance records as directed Assist with promoting safety as the number one priority Report and rectify any unsafe situation or near miss Keep a clean, organized, safe work environment Assist with the expedition of emergency parts orders during Supervisor’s absence Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to all departments Other duties as required to ensure the department's successful operation, including support of other departments and special promotions Why join us? Exigences

Requires a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification with B.C. Trades and the ability to handle heavy loads up to 35kg. Experience with snow grooming equipment and the ability to operate powered equipment safely is preferred.
