Job Description Summary We're seeking a mechanically inclined Industrial Tool Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, test, and calibrate industrial tooling equipment. This role supports customer projects and field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use. You'll work with hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and torque-controlled tools while delivering exceptional safety, quality, and customer service. What You'll Do Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial tooling equipment Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing Maintain service records and repair documentation Ensure equipment meets safety and manufacturer standards Support customers and branch teams with technical troubleshooting Prepare rental equipment for customer use Assist with field service, equipment demonstrations, and jobsite support Maintain shop organization, inventory control, and asset accountability Follow all safety policies and participate in workplace safety programs Equipment You'll Work With Hydraulic torque wrenches Pneumatic torque tools Hydraulic pumps and accessories Flange maintenance equipment Material handling and rigging equipment Electric and battery-powered tooling Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of mechanical repair, industrial maintenance, or related experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician, Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or related trade certification Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Knowledge of torque and tensioning equipment Equipment calibration and load-testing experience Industrial, mining, construction, refinery, petrochemical, or shutdown/turnaround experience Forklift certification What Makes You Successful Safety-focused and detail-oriented Strong mechanical aptitude Customer-first mindset Dependable and accountable Team-oriented with a positive attitude Able to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Physical Requirements Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Travel to customer sites as needed Occasional overtime during shutdowns and critical projects If you're a hands-on technician who enjoys solving mechanical problems and takes pride in delivering reliable, customer-ready equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
