As the Application Lead / Solution Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and assisting in the maintenance and support of several of our critical enterprise applications. We are looking for an individual with the enthusiasm to migrate some of the applications and business capabilities to our AWS platform. You will lead the technical design and implementation of new features, improve existing functionalities, and assist in migrating legacy applications to the AWS cloud. Key Responsibilities: Support, maintain, and optimize critical enterprise applications, including collaboration with external service providers and cross functional groups Design, develop, test, and enhance applications using AWS technologies and modern development practices Lead and support the migration of legacy applications and services to AWS cloud environments Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver new capabilities Drive the adoption of CI/CD, automation, and testing practices to improve development efficiency and solution quality Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and support processes Contribute to development standards, architectural patterns, and best practices that can be leveraged across the organization Location and other Key Details: This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with occasional site visits Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based on years of experience and scope of work Think we are a fit?
