Responsibilities: Support the development, evaluation, and execution of enterprise strategy Assess the strategic fit, risks, and value potential of business opportunities, investments, partnerships, and growth initiatives Conduct market, competitor, industry, and macroeconomic analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks Lead scenario planning and strategic assessments to evaluate potential impacts on the business and portfolio Support portfolio prioritization and resource allocation decisions to maximize enterprise value Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership and Board discussions Monitor strategic initiatives, key performance indicators, and external signposts to inform strategy adjustments Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategic priorities and drive informed decision-making Location and other Key details: The position will be based at the Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Center at 150 – 6th Ave S.W Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with business travel to sites as required Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work Think we are a fit? Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills are required, with preference given to those with industry experience in energy or oil and gas.
