About The Role We are seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Data and Analytics team at TBWA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leveraging data to optimize media campaigns and enhance overall marketing performance for a leading automotive client in Canada. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and support strategic decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including media, strategy, and creative units, to translate data insights into actionable recommendations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and marketing, utilizing cutting-edge tools and methodologies to deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field 2-3 years of experience in data analytics or data science, preferably within media or marketing environments Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis Strong knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau Understanding of media analytics, ROI modeling, and campaign measurement techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and curiosity to explore data insights Effective communication skills to present complex data findings clearly Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven solutions to key business challenges Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and data warehouses to support reporting and analysis activities Support the development and ongoing maintenance of media optimization models, including market mix models and media investment planning Monitor and enhance existing machine learning models, analyzing their performance regularly Contribute to audience segmentation, ad campaign planning, and measurement on proprietary data platforms Partner with media, strategy, and creative teams to provide comprehensive data analytics support for campaign execution Develop and update strategic dashboards using Tableau to visualize business performance metrics Conduct competitive landscape analyses and generate share of voice and market share reports and projections Explain complex data solutions and model outcomes to non-technical audiences through visualizations and executive presentations Benefits Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 Opportunity to work with leading brands and innovative projects Professional development and training opportunities Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity Flexible work arrangements with a minimum of three days in-office per week, with potential for increased in-office presence over time Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Supportive company culture that encourages work-life balance Equal Opportunity TBWA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment.
