The role involves working closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and orthodontics, to deliver comprehensive dental services. *Duties* * Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols * Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments * Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care * Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits * Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information * Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards * Front desk duties *Qualifications* * Certified Dental Assistant credential required * Internationally trained assistant with HARP certification * Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable * Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry preferred * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care * Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team * Prior experience supporting dental procedures in a fast-paced environment is preferred * Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion in patient interactions This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Dental Assistant to grow their career within a supportive practice that values professional development and patient-centered care.
