About the Role Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, the Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of innovation and renovation initiatives that drive growth across Sunstar's Canadian business. You will be responsible for managing innovation projects from concept through commercialization, identifying opportunities for portfolio expansion, supporting new category entries, and leading strategic initiatives across key channels, including Retail, Professional, and Costco. Working closely with Global Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Finance, Sales, and external partners, you'll help bring innovative products to market that strengthen Sunstar's category leadership and drive business performance. What You'll Do * Lead innovation and renovation projects from concept through commercialization * Support annual innovation planning and identify opportunities for portfolio growth * Develop and execute new product launch plans, including pricing, promotional, and support strategies * Manage innovation pipelines, including Costco and alternative channel opportunities * Leverage consumer, customer, and market insights to identify opportunities and inform decision-making * Monitor product performance, competitive activity, and emerging market trends * Lead growth initiatives for the Kids portfolio, including licensed brands and partnerships * Manage licensing relationships and support contract negotiations * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution * Identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance speed to market What You Bring * University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field * Minimum seven years of experience in product marketing, portfolio management, innovation, or commercialization within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment * Experience leading new product launches and innovation initiatives * Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen * Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams * Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills * Experience using consumer, customer, and market insights to drive business decisions * Experience with NielsenIQ and syndicated data analysis * Experience with Stage-Gate processes and project management methodologies * Oral Care, Personal Care, Beauty, Health & Wellness, or Pharmaceutical category experience is considered an asset * Experience with Euromonitor, Numerator, or similar market intelligence tools is an asset What You'll Gain * A purpose-driven organization focused on improving health and wellness around the world * A strong, team-oriented culture that values collaboration, recognition, and employee engagement * Opportunities for career growth and development within a global organization * Competitive compensation, including bonus opportunities * Comprehensive benefits coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans * Access to corporate perks and employee discount programs (including GUM products) * Recognition programs, employee celebrations, and milestone acknowledgements * Hybrid work opportunities (depending on role and department) * Opportunity to collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to drive business performance and continuous improvement Work Environment Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid role while connecting in-person at our Guelph, Ontario office, easily accessible via public transit.
