The Opportunity: Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Bilingual Claims Specialist to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Bilingual Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to and representing Sunwing Vacations Group's interest in small claims (and equivalent) court actions and assisting with larger files in concert with a Sunwing lawyer. The position will report to the Claims & Compliance Director, and will be located in Laval, Quebec. What You’ll Do: Respond to Court Actions in writing and in person where appropriate for the Sunwing Vacations Group. Liaise with various internal departments and third-party travel suppliers to research Court Actions in preparation to file responses with the Court. Attend court/tribunals/mediations as Sunwing Vacations Group's representative and advocate for Court Actions. Assist in-house lawyers and external lawyers with larger claims. Identify trends in Actions and communicate recommendations for changes/enhancements within the broader Sunwing Vacations Group. Keep up to date on all Sunwing Vacations Group guest-facing policies and procedures.
