About this role This is a great opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in fraud operations. As a part of the broader Strategic Operations team, you will learn how the business works and have a direct impact on the customer experience. There will be opportunities to assist special projects. This internship is a good fit for a student with foundational business knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with people! What you’ll be working on: Review customer accounts in order to compile compelling evidence for customer disputes Assess / Leverage data to gather insights on customer behavior and identify opportunities Monitor Fraud Dashboards to ensure we’re being proactive in our fraud mitigation efforts Opportunity to participate in special projects related to fraud and chargebacks What we’re looking for: You are a post-secondary student, studying business or finance Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 1-2 years of work experience preferred Experience with data analysis preferred You have a passion for people, processes, and systems You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup You are a critical thinker and problem-solver You have the ability to learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard What We Offer: Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one-time Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week. We’re a remote-first company, but you’re always welcome to join us at our head office on 260 Queen Street West in Toronto. We also host virtual and in-person socials where interns can connect, play games, and meet others - including company - wide game nights and events.
