Design Consultant

Objective: The Design Consultant is responsible for collaborating with our teams from Design, Operations, Manufacturing, and Installation to create one-of-a-kind kitchen designs. Reports to: General Manager, Saskatoon Direct Reports: None Location: Saskatoon Store Main Responsibilities: * Promotion and sale of our products and services to retail customers, renovators, and small home builders * Design of dream kitchens as per the needs of the client * Order management * Customer support * Prospecting for new business and accounts as required * Measure – Mark outs of sites. * Inspections of installations. These responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive. It represents typical elements and criteria to perform the job successfully. Skills and Abilities: * An entrepreneurial spirit, passion for design, and a drive for success * Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously * Strong communication skills Education and/or Training: * Working knowledge of building codes and compliance issues * A degree or diploma from an accredited interior design or architecture program will be considered an asset * Minimum of one year of experience in kitchen design and sales * Experience in design software such as 2020 Design Technologies, AutoCAD, etc. * A valid driver’s license (and vehicle) While we appreciate all applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
