About The Role We’re looking for engineers who can think across the full stack, balance technical trade-offs, mentor others, and turn ambitious ideas into production-ready systems. As an Intermediate Solution Engineer, you'll take full ownership of features across the entire stack: designing APIs, optimizing databases, building complex React interfaces, and integrating AI agent frameworks. You'll mentor junior engineers, make architectural trade-offs, and directly impact the product roadmap. YOU ARE! Someone who can mentor junior engineers; provides thoughtful code reviews Somone who is comfortable with ambiguous requirements; can scope and design features Someone who thinks in terms of trade-offs, not absolutes Key Responsibilities what you’ll own Design and implement full-stack features: API endpoints, database schema updates, React UI, and agent logic Architect frontend state management for complex workflows (multi-step agent configuration, real-time monitoring) Build FastAPI endpoints that integrate with agent frameworks; handle async execution, error handling, validation Optimize SQL queries and design efficient PostgreSQL schemas (indexes, constraints, migrations) Integrate vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) for semantic search and RAG pipelines Write production-quality Python agents using LangChain, CrewAI, or similar Debug complex issues spanning multiple layers (frontend state, API contract, database query, agent behavior) Mentor junior engineers on technical decisions and code quality Lead code reviews and advocate for technical excellence Tech Stack Frontend - React, TypeScript, Vite, state management, testing Backend - FastAPI, Python, async/await, Pydantic, authentication Agents & AI - LangChain, CrewAI, MCP, tool integration, prompt engineering, Claude Skills and Agents Data - PostgreSQL (advanced), Vector DBs, RAG, embeddings DevOps - Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD, AWS/GCP basics Technical Experience Frontend Expertise: Advanced React patterns: compound components, render props, context/Redux/Zustand Strong TypeScript: discriminated unions, utility types, generics Performance optimization: code splitting, memoization, render cycle understanding Testing with React Testing Library or Cypress Backend & API Design Can design REST APIs with proper HTTP semantics, validation, error handling FastAPI expertise: Pydantic models, async/await patterns, authentication/authorization API testing with pytest; writing testable, maintainable code AI & Agent Frameworks Deep understanding of LangChain, CrewAI, or Autogen Can build multi-step workflows: planning, memory, tool use, reflection Prompt engineering: temperature, tokens, few-shot, chain-of-thought Testing agents: deterministic tests, mocking LLM responses, validation Database & Search Complex SQL: JOINs, subqueries, window functions, CTEs Schema design: normalization, constraints, index strategies Query optimization and EXPLAIN analysis Vector DB integration: Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma RAG pipelines: chunking, embedding, retrieval, summarization Deployment & Operations Docker: writing efficient Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, optimization Docker Compose for local development CI/CD pipeline understanding (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Basic cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Preferred Qualifications While not required, preference may be given to candidates with experience in the following areas: Redis caching and optimization Message queues (Celery, Bull) GraphQL experience Advanced prompt engineering and fine-tuning experience We thank all applications who apply, however only those who are selected for an interview will be contacted.
