We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Nisku, AB. If you are an analytical thinker who loves digging into complex reconciliations, running a smooth month-end close, and driving process efficiencies, we want to hear from you! The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting, managing treasury and compliance, and acting as a technical resource for the team. What You’ll Do Lead and support the month-end and year-end close processes, preparing consolidated financial statements and working papers. Manage complex bank, intercompany, and sub-ledger (AR/AP/Inventory) reconciliations; maintain fixed assets and capital lease schedules. Prepare weekly/monthly Borrowing Base Certificates (BBC) and bank reports, and support corporate cash flow forecasting. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors (Year-End, Bank, CRA, Provincial) and ensure timely filing of sales and corporate taxes. Maintain data integrity between Great Plains and Solver, and draft SOPs to streamline our accounting workflows. What You Bring A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with a minimum of 5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience. A CPA designation is highly preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Dynamics Great Plains and Solver (or QuickBooks); advanced Excel skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables) are a must.
