We are looking for Journeyman Electricians to join our Motor preservation team in the Edmonton area! We are looking for local candidates who are committed to safety, quality, and a shared win approach to client satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing Maintain a continual focus on safety and adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies, including daily safety analysis and mitigation. Complete visual inspections, circuits and wiring, disassembly and reassembly of motors, equipment testing and calibrations, QAQC documentation and storage. Work with other trades to complete tasks Responsible for material ordering, and QAQC documents directly associated with the project at hand. Maintain high standard of safety Operate calibrated testing equipment Mentor and support apprentices to ensure the highest quality of workmanship across the team. Assist team members with the installation, testing and replacement of equipment for other preservation equipment at the facility. What You Need To Succeed Journeyman Electrician Certification Previous preservation or electric motor experience, QAQC documentation experience and familiarity with motor testing equipment including meters and insulation testers Standard First Aid and general orientations. (Can be provided) A respectful attitude with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional communication skills. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and the ability to maintain work schedule.
