Overview Trucking Shop Labourer Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction. We offer: Benefits, RRSP/TFSA Matching Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: 8 Hours/day, Monday through Friday, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s (non-camp position, required to live in the area) Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions Requirements: Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Pre-employment: Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test) Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fitness to Work Assessment Mask Fit Testing Washbay Labourer / Trucking Shop Labourer Responsibilities: Washing various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the washbay with high pressure hose. Ensure proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands, bays, and equipment. Perform general housekeeping to ensure the wash bay is clean and organized. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in shop including wiping down surfaces, washing floors...etc. Load and unload supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment. Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
