Demonstrated success leading complex contract negotiations and commercial discussions What & Why: One of BCs best employers is looking for a Director, IT Vendor Management to take ownership of their strategic technology vendor ecosystem and outsourced service relationships. In a nutshell: you'll be the primary relationship owner for the organization's key technology vendors and managed service providers, ensuring contracts are honoured, service levels are met, and every dollar spent on technology delivers real value. This role has been created to elevate vendor governance to the next level, building out a robust performance scorecard, sharpening commercial negotiations, and holding vendors firmly accountable for what they've promised. It's a fantastic opportunity for a vendor management professional who wants to operate at a strategic level, work cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Risk, and have a direct hand in protecting and maximizing a significant technology investment portfolio. You'll be joining a collaborative, cross-functional culture where your voice and expertise will directly influence executive-level decision-making. You: You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role: Minimum 8 years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier governance, or technology procurement, ideally including large technology outsourcing relationships and vendor-performance programs Demonstrated success leading complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions, with a strong ability to interpret contractual language and assess commercial and risk implications Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, invoice validation, and cost optimization; paired with advanced supplier-governance and stakeholder-management capabilities Solid understanding of technology outsourcing agreements, managed-services contracts, SLAs/KPIs, and supplier risk management frameworks; experience in financial services or another regulated industry is an asset Excellent communication, influencing, and executive presentation skills University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Commerce, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); vendor management, contract management, procurement, sourcing, or ITIL certifications are a plus Compensation: This role offers a competitive compensation package including a salary of $140,000 - $160,000 plus 20% - 30% bonus, 6% RRSP Matching, 4 weeks vacation, and much more!
