Who- the Company: Our client is a high profile and reputable global company headquartered right here in Vancouver. What- the Role: On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a new Senior Accountant who will work alongside several other Accountants at various levels of experience. This is a well-rounded role involving financial reporting, month/quarter/year end closing, overseeing and reviewing accounts receivables and journal entries, cashflow reporting, transfer pricing calculations, variance analysis, audit support, etc. Swim Recruiting will provide interested candidates with a detailed job description. Who- the Candidate: This is a great role for an accounting professional who enjoys engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a close-knit team. Qualified candidates will have 5 to 10 years’ progressive accounting work experience. Must have work experience in a large multi-entity company (400+ employees). Ideally global. Ideally publicly-listed. Relevant post-secondary education in accounting is required. CPA designation is highly preferred, almost required. Analytically minded, with exposure to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Systems- Proficiency in Excel is required, including using Excel for analytical work. Financial modeling skills in Excel is an asset! Experience using a sophisticated ERP is beneficial (such as SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) Where- Headquarters: Downtown Vancouver with HYBRID flexibility. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. After approximately 3 months of onboarding and training, the Senior Accountant can start to work from home 2 days a week. There is a set day of every work week when the whole Accounting team is working in the office together for collaboration and teambuilding. How Much: Very competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, in the range of $85,000 to $110,000. Please note that for the high-end of the range (over $100,000) candidates will need to have 8+ years of relevant experience and most/all desired qualification.
