Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join a well-established dental practice. The ideal candidate will diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth while providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing advanced periodontal procedures, placing dental implants, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary dental team to deliver comprehensive treatment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, prevent, and treat mild to advanced periodontal disease. Perform surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, including gingival grafting, pocket reduction, and crown lengthening. Place dental implants and perform related procedures such as bone grafting and sinus lifts. Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and detailed electronic dental records. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and long-term maintenance. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program. Active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice as a Periodontist. Experience with dental implant placement and advanced periodontal surgical procedures. Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
