Systematix is currently seeking a Network Analyst for our client, a major provincial energy utility organization, to support the operation, administration, design, and implementation of enterprise corporate and SCADA network infrastructure. ABOUT THE PROJECT Systematix is supporting a major Canadian energy utility organization in maintaining and enhancing its enterprise network environment .The Network Analyst will join the Enterprise Networks team and play a key role in the operational administration and implementation of LAN/WAN infrastructure supporting both corporate and SCADA networks. The role combines hands-on network operations with network architecture, planning, security, troubleshooting, and infrastructure implementation. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise network infrastructure Provide technical support, administration, and engineering for enterprise network devices Monitor and optimize network performance and availability Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues Develop strategic plans for network device and infrastructure evolution Support network architecture, planning, and implementation initiatives Manage network disaster recovery planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing Implement network equipment updates following established security and operational procedures Support change control and problem management processes Work with corporate and field employees to resolve technology issues Collaborate across technical teams to develop scalable network solutions Maintain network documentation and follow established Standard Operating Procedures REQUIREMENTS - Must-have 5+ years of recent hands-on network administration and design/architecture experience Strong enterprise LAN/WAN administration and troubleshooting experience Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's Licence or equivalent Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina Ability to travel outside Regina, including occasional overnight stays Ability to participate in an on-call on a rotational basis in 1-week intervals Ability to attend an in-person interview Nice-to-have Spine-and-leaf data centre networking using VXLAN and BGP EVPN BGP, EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols Cisco switches and routers, including IOS, IOS-XE and NX-OS Fortinet firewalls, switches and access points FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiNAC Microsoft Azure networking, including VNets, peering, route tables, Front Door, WAF and NSGs Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Load balancers and web application firewalls Network security best practices Hybrid on-premises/cloud enterprise networking LTE and satellite communications ITIL and Change Management SCADA network experience Provincial government, Crown corporation, or Oil & Gas Transmission experience ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Onsite - Regina, Saskatchewan Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Start: As soon as possible / anticipated September 2026 End: March 31, 2027 Extensions: Up to four additional 1-year terms (not guaranteed) Travel: Required within Saskatchewan, including possible overnight travel On-call: Rotational, in 1-week intervals Overtime: May be required PAY DISCLOSURE Intermediate: $85-95/hr Senior: $95-105/hr Compensation is commensurate with experience, certifications, technical expertise, and market conditions.
