<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong><strong>The Opportunity</strong></strong></p><p> </p><p>Reporting to the IT Manager - Business Solution, the Application Developer is responsible to design and write codes based on agreed SRS for the development of the ERP applications. And will be working alongside with a team of Developer in creating, maintaining, and updating our ERP systems.</p><p> </p><p>The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge in web-based products and platforms; and ability to translate business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website's influence on the industry.</p><p><strong>You Will</strong></p><ul><li>Design, update, and maintain software applications to support specific functions such as inventory tracking, data storage and retrieval, or equipment control.</li><li>Develop, analyze, and refine software programs using workflow charts and diagrams, applying knowledge of computing logic, subject matter, and system capabilities.</li><li>Identify and resolve program errors by making necessary modifications and verifying results to ensure accurate outcomes.</li><li>Conduct test runs of programs and applications to confirm expected performance and validate instruction accuracy.</li><li>Document software development and revision processes, including comments in code to aid understanding and future maintenance.</li><li> Collaborate with managers, engineers, and technical staff to clarify project objectives, troubleshoot issues, and propose enhancements.</li><li>Modify, repair, or expand existing programs to improve efficiency or meet evolving business requirements.</li><li>Assist in creating user guides or documentation to support effective use of software by end users.</li><li>Develop detailed process diagrams and workflow charts to represent system logic and translate them into code using appropriate programming languages.</li><li>Perform systems analysis and application development tasks to support the efficient use of system software.</li><li>Work with computer operators and systems analysts to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to software execution.</li><li>Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.</li><li>Stay current with emerging programming technologies, tools, and industry best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>You Should Have / Be</strong></p><ul><li>A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related disciplines</li><li>Possess 2 year or more hands on experience with programming languages tools, such as React, NoteJS, TypeScript, C#, PHP</li><li>Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards</li><li>Hands on experience with API development with mySql , and MS SQL database</li><li>Strong grasp of security principles and knowledge about Azure platform is a definite advantage</li><li>Working experience with Magento and Wordpress is a plus</li><li>Good presentation and communication skills; possess highly systematic & analytical problem-solving ability; highly concentrated and detail oriented</li><li>Service oriented with good interpersonal and customer relations skills</li><li>Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and responsiveness in completing tasks</li><li>Certification, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE), Project Management, or other designation relating to application system development job skills is an asset</li><li>Must be fluent in spoken and written English</li><li>Knowledge in Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Performance bonuses</li><li>Extended <span class="long-word">health/dental/vision</span> care</li><li>Retirement benefit</li><li>Life/AD&D insurance </li><li>Paid vacation, sick, marriage, bereavement leaves</li><li>10% in-store staff purchase disco
