Position Summary Tacten is seeking a Rope Access Journeyperson Insulator to support our client site Suncor in Fort McMurray, AB! As a Rope Access Insulator, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Position Details: Start Date: September 2026 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada Camp provided Responsibilities Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound. Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas. Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives. Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation. Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised. Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance. Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs. Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments. Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.
