Become a part of our team! The Aftermarket Project Engineer, is responsible for aftermarket package engineering for both the TAKRAF and DELKOR product lines. Role & Responsibilities: Including but not limited to Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or service, Provide technical support in reviewing customer specifications. Determine the objectives in agreement with the contractual conditions (costs, timing, and quality), the scope of the work and the corporate policy for managing the order Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service, Resolve product and service-related problems Costing and estimating of aftermarket services, supplies, logistics etc (non standard parts) Provide technical assistance to clients by providing technical assessments of the existing equipment and provide general support to client for trouble shooting as well as designer any relevant upgrades. Responsible for implementing an operating budget for aftermarket projects Cooperate with other functions for issue of Technical Specifications and solving technical aspects Aftermarket – provide onsite support for commissioning or mechanical inspections if required. Aftermarket – provide onsite engineering services if required. Mechanical engineering including calculations, 3D modelling and detailing (Engineering drawings / shop drawings / erection drawings) Coordination with external or TAKRAF/DELKOR internal entities Ensure technical compliance to the clients specifications and/or applicable codes/standards Assist in the preparation of proposals Ensure technical support during the manufacturing and quality assurance procedure Follow company safety procedures and ensure compliance Protect companies’ interests at all times and to adhere to the companies code of conduct Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical aptitude for mining equipment as well as bulk material handling equipment Knowledge of specific industry Good time management and ability to prioritize work Strong professional communication skills. Ability to communicate to senior and junior internal and external stakeholders Understanding of industry practices, process, standards and the impact on project activities Ability to anticipate challenges, propose innovative solutions. Must be a team player: willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek information Strong problem solving, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills are required for the purpose of preparing proposals, letters, emails, legal contracts, technical presentations, consultation, and project reporting Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with five (5) to (10) years of related experience. Registered P.Eng with APEGA. Ability to drive/use TEKLA, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Inventor Must have proven track record of accomplishments on industrial projects and be capable of working in a team of engineers, designers and support personnel Prior experience working in a related Industry Computer literacy in the MS Office suite is essential Understanding of Commercial Principles - contract types including International contracts Other requirements Must be able to travel internationally, without restrictions Must be able to travel to TAKRAF offices, project sites, client’s offices, supplier's premises and any other destinations for TAKRAF business Must be able to put in required hours/efforts to meet job requirements
