What’s In It For You Pay that reflects the depth of expertise this role demands Full health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family A retirement plan with employer match The chance to shape avionics quality strategy from the top down Advancement & continued technical training Internal promotion paths for leaders who want to keep growing Relocation assistance to make your move to Calgary seamless Quality Control Manager – Avionics Responsibilities Lead and mentor QC, SCA, and MCA personnel Ensure compliance with CARs and Transport Canada requirements Oversee inspections, buy-backs, and functional testing Approve maintenance releases and traceability documentation Provide quality oversight for avionics and repair activities Lead audits and prepare for Transport Canada/OEM reviews Drive RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement Deliver certification training for ACA/SCA/MCA staff Champion SMS principles across the organization Quality Control Manager – Avionics Qualifications Valid Canadian AME-E License 10+ years of avionics maintenance, inspection, or component overhaul experience Previous ACA, SCA, MCA, or equivalent certification authority experience preferred Leadership experience managing quality, inspection, or maintenance teams Strong knowledge of Transport Canada CARs, AMO requirements, and airworthiness regulations Experience with quality systems, regulatory compliance, internal audits, and technical documentation Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and MRO quality systems considered a strong asset Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and decision-making skills Experience working in AMO and MRO environments, performing avionics installations, modifications, and troubleshooting Experience maintaining airworthiness, maintenance releases, and configuration control Ability to provide 2–3 professional references Willing to relocate to Calgary, Alberta Employment Details Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday Location: Calgary, Alberta Other: Permanent, full-time role Interested in AME Quality Control Manager (Avionics) role in Calgary, Alberta?
