We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Modeler with strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, data analysis, and capital markets domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models, profiling complex datasets, supporting data quality initiatives, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across capital markets programs. This role requires a strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, financial market participants, asset classes, and associated risks, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data structures that support reporting, analytics, and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise data initiatives. Create and enhance data models using industry-standard approaches including: Star Schema Snowflake Schema Hybrid Data Models Fact and Dimension Modeling Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data structures and data flows. Perform data profiling, data analysis, and data validation using SQL and spreadsheet-based tools. Identify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues and provide remediation recommendations. Support enterprise Data Quality and Data Governance initiatives. Partner with business users, project managers, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure data requirements are clearly defined and implemented. Develop source-to-target mappings and participate in data integration and transformation efforts. Conduct impact analysis for upstream and downstream data changes. Support UAT and business validation activities related to data initiatives. Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and business rules. Required Qualifications 7-10 years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Analysis roles. Strong hands-on experience with: Data Modeling Techniques (Star, Snowflake, Hybrid Models) Fact and Dimension Table Design Data Warehousing Concepts Data Mapping and Data Lineage Advanced SQL skills with the ability to: Profile large datasets Perform complex queries and joins Analyze and reconcile data issues Validate business and technical rules Experience supporting Data Quality Analysis and remediation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
