*Job Overview* Taverna 13thirtyone is looking for a dedicated and skilled line cook to join our team of professionals. The candidate must have the skills set to work a busy station either on the hotline or salad station, and be able to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen service. *Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards * Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients * Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment * Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations *Requirements* * Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment * Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly * Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks * Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a busy setting * Basic knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus * Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in food industry operations Wage starting at $19per hours Tip program is approx $5-7 per hour worked Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Work Location: In person
