Pallet Maker Location: Stoney Creek, ON Shift: 12 Hour Rotating Pay: $25 per hour starting wage Employment Type: Full Time Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Pallet maker to join our production team. What you will do: * Construct skids and pallets for finished steel products according to customer requirements. * Maintain an adequate supply of lumber, skids, and packaging materials for upcoming production. * Inspect completed skids to ensure they are defect-free and suitable for packaging. * Assist with product storage and maintain knowledge of plant layout. * Work collaboratively with production personnel to support daily operations. * Assist on the 72" Voss Cut-to-Length Line as required. * Perform other duties assigned by the Shift Foreman.At all times, adhere to Taylor's Steel safety and personal protective equipment policies * What we are looking for: Required: * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Ability to work 12 hour shifts * Effective interpersonal skills * Strong attention to detail Nice to have: * Hands-on Mechanical ability * Previous manufacturing and/or industrial packager experience * Experience in the steel sector What we offer: * Competitive salary package * Extensive benefits with employer paid premiums * Competitive vacation allowances * Employer matched Registered Pension Plan * Participation in our Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan after 2 years of full time company service Why Join Us: With 13 production centres across four closely located plants in Stoney Creek, we offer an unmatched concentration of manufacturing capacity.
