We are looking for a CNC Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce quality products according to drawings, specifications and production schedules while adhering to safety standards. The pay range for this position is $22 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience, education and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure cloarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities. Responsibilities When your actions lead to success: Read and interpret job dockets, CAD drawings and work instructions. Set up and operate CNC woodworking machinery and related equipment. Operate power tools, pneumatic nail guns, and measuring equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve CNC machine issues. Sort, package, label and prepare finished products for shipment. Complete paperwork, update job dockets, pull materials and record labour hours. Perform other duties as requested. Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental’s code of ethics and participate in the Continuous Improvements efforts. Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Company policies and procedures. Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. Qualifications When your expertise drives us: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Post-secondary training in CNC machining or a related field is an asset. 3 to 5 years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment. CNC machine set ng tools and production equipment. Basic computer skills.
