Business System Analyst

What You Will Do Create, Own and Maintain detailed functional, design and Solution specifications that satisfy user requirements and adhere to development standards. Support the technical roadmap for the Connected Home portfolio by understanding and influencing overall solution design to align with the channels strategy Work with Product Owner and business stakeholders in analyzing and refining user stories, acceptance criteria. Lead JAD sessions, collaborate with Architect, IT and development team in designing complete end-to-end solution that meets the ask and is forward-looking. Assist with the implementation of new programs or systems into the production. Collaborate and provide oversight to Development, and QA teams to ensure delivery of complex changes in both agile and waterfall programs Post implementation support and review. Perform impact assessment on applications and processes Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions. Takes ownership for high quality internal, external, ITS and business unit stakeholder communications and solution. Assist in the development and implementation of templates, procedures and processes as part of the continuous improvement and development. Support Solution and entire delivery team in different project requirements. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field. 5+ years of professional experience in software development preferably as a Business Systems Analyst in Agile and Waterfall development Experience building scalable distributed systems with service-oriented architectures Knowledge of UML diagramming is a must Experience in SAFe, Scrum and Kanban preferred Ability to synthesize information into concise, logical summaries for audiences of varying levels of technical background Excellent written and oral communications. Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a fast-paced high tech customer service-oriented environment. Superior skill set, including analytical thinking and problem solving, presentation and facilitation and relationship building Connected Home product knowledge in TV, Internet, Home Phone and Smart home Monitoring preferred.

The role involves creating and maintaining detailed functional and design specifications to align with the Connected Home portfolio strategy. The analyst will lead JAD sessions and collaborate with architects and development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and over 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Agile and Waterfall environments. Proficiency in UML diagramming and experience with scalable distributed systems are required.
