Job Title: SDET - Cloud & Automation Job Type: T4 Contract Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (Hybrid) Experience: 1 to 2 Years Rate: 40 to 48 CAD PH Role Summary We are hiring for an SDET-Cloud and Automation role, where the selected candidate will work on a product focused on cloud-based error reporting and analytics. This position involves contributing to test automation, application quality, and scalable cloud services in a collaborative engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Participate in a collaborative engineering team to deliver high-quality software. Work on product testing, including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and defect tracking. Build and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases. Contribute to software quality analysis and risk assessment. Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams across global locations. Support continuous improvement by applying best practices in testing and cloud applications. Suggest improvements to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance. Contribute actively to a team culture focused on collaboration and innovation. Must-Have Skills Hands-on experience in application testing and quality assurance. Strong experience in test automation development. Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Groovy, or Shell. Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of test framework design and development. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have Skills Exposure to microservices and container-based architectures. Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET platform.
