Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Techso is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to help design and develop digital solutions used by leading clients in Montreal and internationally. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor less experienced developers, and help improve our development practices. What You'll Do Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will: Design and develop new applications; Enhance existing solutions by adding new features and resolving issues; Analyze client requirements and contribute to solution architecture; Prepare technical and functional specifications; Estimate the effort required to deliver projects; Participate in production deployments and support change management activities; Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and development best practices; Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Agile practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment processes; Participate in pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and the evaluation of new technologies; Share your expertise and mentor junior team members; Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams. The Profile We're Looking For You Have A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; At least six years of experience in Java development; Strong expertise in object-oriented Java development and Spring Boot; Solid experience in front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.js; Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and tools such as Hibernate; A good understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments; Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment; Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments; The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally; Strong teamwork skills, autonomy, and a genuine desire to actively contribute to the solutions delivered. Nice to Have Experience with Azure DevOps; Knowledge of NoSQL databases; Experience with ETL processes; Knowledge of other technologies such as Node.js, Python, C#, PHP, or other complementary programming languages; Experience in solution architecture, mentoring, or technical pre-sales. Design and develop digital solutions while contributing to architectural decisions and technical specifications. Mentor junior developers and collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to improve development practices and delivery quality.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least six years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in Spring Boot, modern front-end frameworks, and relational databases is essential, along with professional communication skills in English and French.
