Business System Analyst – Intelligent Document Processing

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst with strong experience in Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Kofax/Tungsten TotalAgility. The successful candidate will work with business and technical teams to understand requirements, improve document processing workflows, and support IDP solutions from requirements through production. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for Intelligent Document Processing solutions. Work with Kofax/Tungsten TotalAgility workflows, document capture, ingestion, OCR, classification, extraction, validation queues, and business rules. Analyze document digitization processes, field extraction, confidence scoring, metadata, reconciliation, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop validation. Create BRDs, process flows, functional/non-functional requirements, data mappings, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability documents. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and technical teams to define and implement solutions. Support TotalAgility platform integrations, environment migrations, testing, deployment, and production support. Identify opportunities to improve document processing accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency. Document business rules, workflows, process gaps, and recommended solutions. Participate in testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing, and production issue analysis. Required Skills 8+ years of overall experience as a Business System Analyst or Technical Business Analyst. Strong experience with Kofax TotalAgility / Tungsten TotalAgility. 3+ years of TotalAgility 7.x, 8.x, or later experience preferred. Strong understanding of Intelligent Document Processing, OCR, document classification, image processing, and data extraction. Experience with confidence scoring, validation queues, human-in-the-loop processing, metadata, reconciliation, and exception handling. Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills. Experience creating BRDs, functional requirements, process models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

The role involves gathering business and technical requirements to design and improve Intelligent Document Processing workflows using Kofax/Tungsten TotalAgility. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to support the full lifecycle from requirements through production and deployment.

Candidates must have over 8 years of experience as a Business System Analyst, with specific expertise in Kofax/Tungsten TotalAgility and IDP technologies. Strong skills in creating BRDs, process flows, and managing document digitization workflows are required.
