MOVEit Administrator

Job Summary We are looking for a MOVEit Administrator to support Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations in a hybrid enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of MOVEit Automation, MOVEit Transfer, secure file transfer protocols, SSH/SFTP, SSH key management, PGP encryption, and troubleshooting file movement across internal and external systems. Primary Skills MOVEit MFT (MOVEit Automation & MOVEit Transfer) File transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, FTP SSH, SFTP, and SSH Key Pair management Key Responsibilities Support and administer MOVEit Automation and MOVEit Transfer for secure internal and external file transfers. Configure and troubleshoot SFTP landing zones used for secure file retrieval and delivery. Work with SFTP, FTPS, and FTP protocols to manage file transfer processes. Configure SSH/SFTP connections and manage SSH key pairs for secure authentication. Support PGP encryption and understand encryption key pair concepts for secure file exchange. Configure server connections using VShell and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Understand and maintain virtual routes, file system security, and folder permissions. Use logical constructs such as if-then-else, for loops, and AND/OR conditions while working with automation workflows. Investigate file transfer failures and trace issues across multiple source and destination systems. Create and maintain meaningful technical and operational documentation. Required Technical Skills Strong understanding of Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems and data movement processes. Experience with MOVEit Automation and exposure to MOVEit Transfer is highly preferred. Knowledge of SSH, SFTP, SSH key authentication, and secure file transfer protocols. Understanding of PGP encryption and file encryption key management. Experience configuring VShell connections, virtual routes, and file permissions. Ability to troubleshoot complex file transfer and connectivity issues across multiple systems. Ability to understand workflow logic and automation concepts. Soft Skills Excellent communication skills with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to identify recurring incident patterns and apply lessons learned. Open to constructive feedback and comfortable working in a reviewed production environment. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Administer and support MOVEit Automation and Transfer to ensure secure internal and external file movements. Configure SFTP landing zones, manage SSH key pairs, and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across multiple systems.

Requires strong expertise in Managed File Transfer systems, specifically MOVEit tools and secure protocols like SFTP and PGP encryption. Candidates must be able to implement automation workflow logic and maintain detailed technical documentation.
