Senior Databricks Delivery Lead

The Role This contract opportunity is suited to a senior Databricks specialist who combines strong technical depth with consulting experience. You will lead client engagements from architecture through delivery, provide technical direction to delivery teams, and serve as the primary advisor for executive stakeholders throughout each project. What You Will Do Lead Databricks implementation projects as the senior technical contact for client engagements. Define solution architecture across lakehouse design, data governance, pipeline architecture, and platform standards. Guide and review the work of delivery teams to ensure technical quality and consistent execution. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, providing technical leadership from project kickoff through delivery. Identify opportunities to extend engagements by uncovering additional client needs and future project phases. What You Bring 8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or a closely related discipline. At least 3 years of hands-on Databricks delivery experience within a consulting or professional services environment. Strong expertise with Databricks technologies, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Databricks Workflows. Proficiency with Python and/or PySpark, along with experience delivering production-grade data solutions. Proven success leading client-facing technical engagements; Databricks certification and experience with Azure or AWS are advantageous.
