Cloud Architect

Role: Cloud Solution Architect Mode: Full time Location: Toronto, ON Key Responsibilities • Architect and design modern frontend applications using industry-standard frameworks and best practices. • Define and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms across applications. • Lead the design and implementation of cloud security controls including identity and access management. • Architect solutions involving MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), SSO (Single Sign-On), and token-based security models. • Design and secure API ecosystems and integrations across enterprise systems. • Provide guidance on tokenization strategies (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, etc.). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, DevOps) to ensure secure, scalable implementations. • Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments. • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices. • Mentor development teams on secure coding and frontend architecture principles. Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience in frontend technologies (Angular, React, or similar frameworks). • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native architecture. • Hands-on experience with: o Authentication & Authorization frameworks o SSO and Identity Federation o MFA implementation • Expertise in security protocols and standards: o OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect o SAML o JWT token-based authentication • Experience in API design, security, and integrations (REST, API Gateway, etc.). • Solid understanding of tokenization and data protection techniques. • Knowledge of secure application design and DevSecOps practices. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience • Ability to translate business requirements into secure technical solutions • Leadership and mentoring capabilities
