Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Propane Drivers on a temporary, 6-month basis in Melfort, SK offering $25 - $30 an hour, depending on experience. Are you looking for employment in the fall? Our propane team is hiring Class 3A drivers on a 6-month term starting in mid-September to help through the busy season. We offer all the required training and work gear, the possibility of extension, and a work area that will have you home every night. What You’ll Do Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries locally. Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system. Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted. Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations. Who You’ll Work With The Team: You will work on a team of drivers and service technicians and will report to the Supervisor, Propane Distribution on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance. The Customers: You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care. Who You Are You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and: Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license. Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems. Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hoses and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs. The driver is responsible for delivering propane to agricultural, commercial, and domestic customers while maintaining a high standard of safety. Duties include performing daily vehicle inspections, tracking hours via electronic logs, and conducting minor vehicle repairs.

Candidates must possess a Class 3A or Class 1A license and at least one year of professional driving experience. Physical ability to handle equipment weighing at least 50lbs and familiarity with electronic log systems are required.
