Position Description Currently, Tetranex is seeking a full-time Intermediate Controls Technologist/Engineer. Responsibilities Design, programming and commissioning of industrial control and HMI systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/RTU). Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, Emerson DeltaV, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric industrial control systems would be considered an asset. Experience with Wonderware InTouch/System Platform, Ignition, Factory Talk View HMI/SCADA systems would be considered an asset. Understanding and development of engineering deliverables: P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control System Architectures, Control Narratives, Panel Drawings, I/O Drawings, etc. Software and hardware acceptance testing. Client and vendor communication and interface. Experience with loop testing, commissioning and start-up support would be considered an asset. Mentoring of Junior resources. Requirements Engineering degree, Technologist diploma or Trades certificate – equivalent level of field experience may be considered. 5+ years of automation/controls related experience. Strong commitment and demonstrated safety performance. Configuration experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness/ability to travel and prepared to do site work as required. Clean driving record. Electrical and/or Instrumentation experience an asset.
