Registered Nurse (RN II) – Med Surg Med Surg 3rd Floor South- RN- Part Time / Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance: 10864 Texas Health Trail Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Part Time (24 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x2 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays Department Highlights: Med Surg 3rd Floor South Ranges from around 18-22 patients Workplace culture 2nd to none Great benefits/ 401k / PTO Highly engaged management Here’s What You Need Education Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 2+ years of RN experience in a hospital setting preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (maintained annually) 90 days required And ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (charge only) 90 days required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological and social needs. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med Surg 3rd Floor South unit, focusing on safety, physical, and psychological needs. Collaborate with families and caregivers to implement mutual problem solving and maintain a healing environment.

Requires a Nursing Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least one year of RN experience or completion of a residency program. Must hold an active RN license and BCLS certification, with CPI and ACLS certifications required within 90 days.
