Registered Nurse (RN II) – Med Surg Med Surg 3rd Floor South – RN – Full Time / Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance: 10864 Texas Health Trail Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays Department highlights: · Med Surg 3rd Floor South · Ranges from around 18-22 patients · Workplace culture 2nd to none · Great benefits / 401k / PTO · Highly engaged management Here’s What You Need · Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR · Associate's Degree Nursing required OR · Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred · 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required · 2+ years of Tele and/or Med Surg experience in domestic hospital setting preferred · RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND · CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required What You Will Do · Basic Human Needs – Responds to other’s priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs. · Human Respect – Honors worth of human through unconditional acceptance. · Appreciation of Unique Meanings – Concerned with understanding others frame of reference. · Affiliation Needs – Engages family/caregivers in health care situations. · Mutual Problem Solving – Professional behaviors that help patients and families understand how to learn about their health and illness; involves a reciprocal, shared approach with resulting decisions acceptable to involved patients. · Attentive Reassurance – Listens and concentrates on other.
