Role Description The Hair Transplantation Technician is responsible for supporting hair restoration procedures under the supervision of qualified medical professionals. Day-to-day tasks include preparing the treatment room and equipment, assisting with patient preparation, and participating in follicular unit extraction and implantation according to established protocols. The technician will handle graft counting and organization, maintain sterile techniques, and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and supplies. Additional responsibilities include post-procedure support, explaining basic aftercare instructions as directed, and collaborating closely with the clinical team to maintain safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON. Qualifications Technical skills in clinical or aesthetic procedures, including experience or training in hair transplantation, cosmetic treatments, or related medical fields. Knowledge of infection control, sterile techniques, and basic clinical safety standards in an outpatient or surgical setting. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills for handling grafts and performing precise, repetitive tasks. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and collaborate with medical and administrative staff. Ability to follow detailed instructions, adhere to protocols, and maintain accurate records and inventory. Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced clinical environment, with the ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Previous experience in hair transplantation, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or a similar clinical setting is an asset. Relevant diploma or certification in a healthcare, nursing, medical assistant, or aesthetic technician program preferred. Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuous learning in hair restoration techniques.
