Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Account Executive is responsible for developing trusted client relationships, driving profitable revenue growth, and expanding The Byng Group's presence within both existing and prospective customer portfolios. Working closely with Operations, Client Experience, Project Management, Estimating, and Finance, the Account Executive serves as the primary relationship owner for their assigned region, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while identifying opportunities to grow revenue, expand service offerings, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires a highly motivated professional with exceptional relationship-building skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance sales growth with customer satisfaction and profitability. Account Executive - Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the customer journey. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers while continuously expanding contacts within existing customer accounts. Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews, site visits, and project walkthroughs to identify new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and proactively address concerns. Partner with Client Experience, Operations, Project Management, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution. Maintain accurate and timely customer records, activities, contacts, and meeting notes within the CRM platform. Sales and Growth Work with the Director of Business Development to achieve and exceed regional Revenue and Gross Margin objectives through new customer acquisition, portfolio expansion, onboarding new buildings, and cross-selling additional service offerings. Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and advancing opportunities while maintaining accurate forecasting within the CRM. Proactively identify unit turnover opportunities while expanding renovation and value-added service offerings throughout the assigned portfolio. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop customer-specific growth strategies aligned with company objectives. Leverage sales performance metrics, pipeline reporting, and CRM tools to drive accountability and sustainable growth. Client Experience and NPS Collaborate with Business Development, Client Experience, Operations, Estimating, Finance, and Field Services to support customer growth and successful project delivery. Provide customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive feedback to support strategic planning and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate CRM opportunities, forecasts, customer activity, and pipeline reporting. Prepare and present regular updates on sales performance, pipeline health, customer relationships, Gross Margin performance, and strategic opportunities. Collaboration and Reporting Collaborate with Business Development, Client Experience, Operations, Estimating, Finance, and Field Services to support customer growth and successful project delivery. Provide customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive feedback to support strategic planning and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate CRM opportunities, forecasts, customer activity, and pipeline reporting. Prepare and present regular updates on sales performance, pipeline health, customer relationships, Gross Margin performance, and strategic opportunities. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales, preferably within Property Management, Construction, Renovation, Real Estate or a related industry. Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed revenue objectives while building long-term customer relationships. Demonstrated ability to balance revenue growth with profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Strong business acumen with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM platform while maintaining accurate forecasts and customer records. Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex customer situations professionally. Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% within the assigned territory.
