The Glencoe Club is a private, family-oriented sports and social club located in the Elbow Park neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta. We are seeking dynamic part-time Tennis Instructors to join the Tennis Team. As a Tennis Instructor, you will inspire and develop players through the delivery of engaging Group, and Private Lessons at the Glencoe Club. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse community of tennis enthusiasts, helping them improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game. If you are passionate about Tennis and eager to share your expertise with players of all skill levels, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: * Provide service excellence to members and guests through the planning, organizing and delivery of tennis lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players * Deliver high-quality, interactive on-court coaching tailored to members and guests of all ages and demographics * Monitor and provide constructive feedback to help players improve performance * Support the coordination of leagues, tournaments and other Tennis activities as required * Actively contribute to departmental teamwork, collaboration and annual service standards through consistent communication and building positive relationships with participants, parents, and facility staff * Maintain a safe and well-organized tennis court environment, ensuing compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations Qualifications: * Proven experience as a tennis instructor, coach, or related role across a variety of ages and demographics * Demonstrated knowledge of tennis techniques including the technical, tactical, physical and mental components of tennis * Physical stamina and ability to demonstrate competitive level tennis skills * Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with members and employees * Proficient organizational and time management skills * A collaborative team player committed to delivering exceptional service High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity Why choose us: * An inclusive and diverse working environment highlighted by creativity and collaboration, featuring top industry leaders * Numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth including training and development * Delicious, fulsome employee meals prepared daily * Employee referral program that rewards the additional talent you bring * Numerous employee recognition programs to reward you for your incredible efforts Additional Details: These are part-time positions that report to the Tennis Director. The successful candidate may be required to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required. Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications, prior to commencing employment.
